In any season, farmers markets are in full swing in Baltimore. We have a number of markets to choose from. This list doesn’t include them all, but these are some of the best and most popular farmers markets in Baltimore City.

Baltimore Farmers Market

The Baltimore Farmers Market is Maryland’s largest farmers market. It’s open every Sunday from 7 am-12 pm between April-December and is located under the Jones Falls Expressway at Holliday and Saratoga Streets. It also features events and showcases. On the first Sunday of every month, there is a different themed event like Bike to Market Day to celebrate National Bike Month, pumpkin decorating in the fall, and a celebration of women-owned businesses at the market.

Druid Hill Farmers Market

The Druid Hill Farmers Market runs Wednesdays in June-October from 3:30-7 pm in Druid Hill Park on the lawn of the Rawlings Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Aside from the vendors, the market also offers a programming schedule that includes live music, free yoga classes, and movies.

Fells Point Farmers Market

The Fells Point Farmers Market is open every Saturday in May-December from 8 am-12:30 pm. It’s located in Broadway Square on the corner of Broadway Street and Thames Street. Because of it’s location and easy access to a water taxi stop, it’s easy to include the market in a nice weekend day out. You can shop the market, grab brunch at any one of the many Fells Point restaurants, and take the water taxi to the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine for some history and sightseeing.

Waverly/32nd Street Farmers Market

The 32nd Street Farmers Market sells produce, fruit, prepared foods, baked goods, and flowers. It’s open every Saturday, year-round, from 7 am-12 pm. What’s special about this market is that any profit made from vendor fees and membership donations are paid back to the community in the form of small annual grants to local nonprofit organizations. This community-oriented farmers market has been open since 1980 and is located in a parking lot on the corner of E 32nd Street and Barclay Street.

Pratt Street Market

The Pratt Street Market is right at the Inner Harbor at the corner of Pratt and Light Streets. It’s open May-September from 11 am-2 pm on Thursdays, so it’s most convenient for people who work downtown and want to pick up lunch or some groceries. It’s vendors include well-known Baltimore favorites like Shareef’s and Sobeachy, as well as fresh produce, fruit, baked goods, and flowers.

Baltimore Museum of Industry Farmers Market

The Baltimore Museum of Industry Farmers Market is a small, charming market. It’s located just outside the museum looking out onto the harbor. It runs May-November on Saturdays from 9 am-1 pm.
