Baltimore's Best Farmer's Markets

Baltimore's Best Farmer's Markets

When summertime comes, farmer’s market season is in full swing in Baltimore. We have a number of markets to choose from and list doesn’t even include them all, but these are some of the best and most popular farmer’s markets in Baltimore City.

Baltimore Farmer's Market & Bazaar

The Baltimore Farmer’s Market and Bazaar is one of Maryland’s biggest farmer’s markets. It’s open every Sunday from 7 am-12 pm between April-December and is located under the Jones Falls Expressway at Holliday and Saratoga Streets. It’s not just a regular market—it also features events and showcases. On the first Sunday of every month, there is a different themed event like Bike to Market Day to celebrate National Bike Month, pumpkin decorating in the fall, and a celebration of women-owned businesses at the market.

Druid Hill Farmer’s Market

The Druid Hill Farmer’s Market runs Wednesdays in June-October from 3:30-7 pm in Druid Hill Park on the lawn of the Rawlings Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Aside from the vendors, the market also offers a programming schedule that includes live music, free yoga classes, and movies.

Fells Point Farmer’s Market

The Fells Point Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday in May-November from 7:30 am-12:30 pm, located in the newly renovated Broadway Square on the corner of Broadway Street and Thames Street. Because of it’s location and easy access to a water taxi stop, it’s easy to include the market in a nice weekend day out. You can shop the market, grab brunch at any one of the many Fells Point restaurants, and take the water taxi to the Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine for some history and sightseeing.

Waverly/32nd Street Farmer’s Market

The 32nd Street Farmer’s Market sells produce, fruit, prepared foods, baked goods, and flowers and it’s open every Saturday, year-round, from 7 am-12 pm. What’s special about this market is that any profit made from vendor fees and membership donations are paid back to the community in the form of small annual grants to local nonprofit organizations. This community-oriented farmer’s market has been open since 1980 and is located in a parking lot on the corner of E 32nd Street and Barclay Street.

Pratt Street Farmer’s Market

The Pratt Street Farmer’s Market is right in the Inner Harbor area of downtown Baltimore at the corner of Pratt and Light Streets. It’s open May-October, from 11 am-2 pm on Thursdays, so it’s most convenient for people who work downtown and want to pick up lunch or some groceries. It’s vendors include well-known Baltimore favorites like Ekiben, Dooby’s, and the Urban Oyster, as well as fresh produce, fruit, baked goods, and flowers.

Baltimore Museum of Industry Farmer’s Market

The Baltimore Museum of Industry Farmer’s Market is a small, but charming market. It’s located just outside the museum looking out onto the harbor and runs from May-November on Saturdays from 9 am-1 pm.
